About The Artist...
Norristown Artist Frank Batson has produced a series of 13 prints of his original watercolor paintings of various "Norristown Remembered" scenes from the Norristown heydays he recalls.
Known as Rinky, a N.H.S. graduate (Class of 1954), a Hall of Champions Inductee, Frank is a long time member and a current instructor of the Greater Norristown Art League (GNAL).
His art extends to a wide range of subject matter. He also does house portraits in watercolor and pen & ink. He may be reached at 610-584-4884.
"Roosevelt Field Remembered"
is an original painting by Norristown artist Frank Batson. The watercolor/pen & ink
depicts the glory days of Norristown High School's Roosevelt Field.
Frank will be appearing at Rainbow Arts & Crafts to sign
copies of his art on Friday, October 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds from print sales and framing of
"Roosevelt Field Remembered" will be donated to help with the construction costs of the new field and stadium.
